Kamilo 205

This was our third time in the KaMilo development at Mauna Lani and this house was by far the nicest — upgraded finishes, amenities that anticipated our needs (e.g. bumpers for mattresses for little kids, pack n play, beach gear and toys, and a well appointed kitchen). We will definitely return.

We absolutely loved our stay in KaMilo 205! The house is beautiful and equipped with everything that you need. It’s nice to have a living room with tv both upstairs and downstairs. The house is in a great location in the quiet neighborhood. It’s steps away from the fitness center and the community pool and hot tub. However, we spent more time in the wonderful pool and hot tub in the back yard. We loved going to the nearby local beaches and exploring the hotels in Mauna Lani. The best part of our stay here was watching the stunning sunsets over the ocean view each evening from the balcony!

We loved our stay at this home. It was a perfect size for our family and had everything needed! The neighborhood had a gym we could use and also additional pools. We did enjoy having our own pool however. Nice and clean and the perfect space for our family. The market was nearby as well as the private beach that was great! Would stay there again!!

The family enjoyed a wonderful,relaxing time. The house was very clean and well appointed. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The large pool in the complex was a very short walk away . We all enjoyed several afternoons at the beach club. A nice place to snorkel. We’ve already booked our return visit ! Although we did not need him during our stay, Korby was very responsive to our questions during the booking process.

Our family spent 12 days at Kamilo 205 in September. The house is large and in great condition with a beautiful private pool. All of the furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was large and well equipped. The garage had some nice beach toys and chairs which were useful when we went to beaches outside of the Mauna Lani resort. The large community pool was being refurbished during our visit so we can't comment on that, but with our own private pool it was not missed. Korby was very helpful and responsive to the few minor things we needed assistance with. Would definitely stay here again!

We always love staying in the Kamilo homes. They are well appointed, nice layout, peaceful and ver relaxing.

Beautiful, spacious and clean Hawaiian home. Just steps away from wonderful amenities. Exclusive private beach club access with amazing snorkeling. We will definitely book again in the future.

Amazing stay. Loved the property. Private pool and hot tub was a huge plus. Access to beach club and black sand beach provided for amazing snorkeling and sunbathing. Can’t wait to come back and would stay here for sure.

This unit fit all of our families needs! Very spacious, private and everything we needed for the weekend was available to us. Definitely will book again!

Everything you could need and then some for a family vacation in paradise.

We had a great time! The house was excellent. We loved the location, tbe amenities, the decoration. Breakfasts on the back terrace overlooking the golf course and the ocean in the distance were wonderful. We definitely want to come back.

We had a magical time on the Big Island, and staying at Kamilo 205 made it all the more special. The home is spacious, clean, and well appointed. Having access to a beautiful pool and hot tub in the back yard was incredible, and it was lovely that the community lap pool/recreation pool/hot tub was just down the street to mix things up. The property manager for Kamilo 205 was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The location of the home was perfect. Not too far from the airport/downtown Kailua-Kona and our favorite beaches. We would love to stay here again. Aloha and Mahalo!

The location was amazing for the Ironman! And the house was everything that we dreamed! We had 5 adults and each group had their own space yet so much community areas as well! Highly recommend!

KaMilo 205 was an excellent choice for our family of 4. We had plenty of room for our 2 teenage boys and enjoyed being centrally located on the western side of the Big Island. The host had everything we needed and the home was comfortable and well kept. The community/common area fitness center and pools were a surprising plus and we loved the local small shopping area which was within walking distance. Thank you for a great stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our statin KaMilo 205!! Clean, beautiful, well appointed. The pool was awesome! Enjoyed the hot tub too! Only two extremely small negatives: 1. Grill ran out of propane, 2. Had trouble getting dishwashers to run. Can I recommend instructions? Thank you very much! Had a blast!

Great location and our host Korby was easy to communicate with. Recommend getting some BBQ tools and upgrading the jacuzzi heater or don't advertise the house as having one (never got warm). We would definitely rent the house again!

It was such a beautiful stay/ big roomy house and perfect for a stay cation for my little family! Didn’t have to worry about any traffic at the same pool because we had one to our self! Totally worth it and definitely doing it again!

things went better after our first night - smoke alarm went off several times in the early morning. we had to remove it to get some sleep at 2:00 a.m. few more problems resolved by Monday.

We have been to the island 3 times, and have always stayed in the Waikoloa area. This house and location are perfect.

My husband and I traveled with my parents, and this house was amazing and extremely spacious for our group. Upstairs there is a large family room, kitchen, and guest bedroom with bath. Downstairs there is another family room, master bedroom and 3rd bedroom with separate bath. The backyard is great and has a lovely pool with chairs to enjoy the outdoor space. The garage is equipped with 3 bikes and all the beach gear you need (chairs, umbrella, cooler).

The home is in a gated community and has close access to the Fairmont Hotel and The Shops (where there is a grocery store, restaurants and shops). We walked and biked all over. We did wish there were more walking paths, especially a path from Mauna Lani to the Kings/Queen shops (maybe one day!).

We did have some minor issues. The door handle to the upstairs patio door is broken and needs to be fixed. Some of the appliances were not working properly. The food processor in the kitchen didn't work, and the gas grill was very troublesome for us. We had several issues getting the flame to ignite. After several attempts we got it working just fine. We also had issues getting the hot tub to heat up. And, sadly never got it to a suitable temperature. There aren't instructions on how to use the TV's and had some issues getting the upstairs one to work (we eventually figured it out, but would be nice to have documentation on how to trouble shoot issues).

Overall this house is great and would certainly rent again!

Upscale villa with all the beach toys you could want and three bikes to ride around the resort. Comfortable beds, nice linens, lovely bamboo flooring on main floor and master bedroom. Very clean and well taken care of. Private pool is a treat plus complex pools and fitness center are right across street and nicer than most resort hotels. Easy stroll walk to Fairmont or Shops for multiple options for dining. Beach Club with great snorkeling and restaurant short drive or 20 minute walk through resort grounds. Easy check in, professional and friendly rental agency.

My son and his teenage boys and I spent a week at this beautiful unit. We really enjoyed the pool and spa and having our own little backyard oasis. The house is well furnished and the kitchen as well. There were some cooking condiments and spices (dry) which were helpful when you aren’t doing a long stay. We enjoyed the spacious lanai and bbq centre and the Amenity Centre was so close and 5 star. We enjoyed the gym and pool. The furniture was very comfortable, as were the beds. Maybe a pillow refresh in the upstairs bedroom would be in order, and the table lamp in that room didn’t work even after swapping out bulbs and plugs. Not a big deal. Korby the property manager was very responsive and genuinely wants you to have the best experience with your stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook in future
