Halii Kai 15D

This place was amazing! The location was perfect and the condo was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!!!

This is the 2nd stay for us at Halii Kai 15D. We love the view from the lanai. Perfect for whale watching and sunsets. The unit is spacious and beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The pool is great for sunbathing with views for miles. The bar and restaurant at the pool has excellent drinks and food.

Best Ocean View Ever. Super nice with top notch amenities. Staff super responsive to every call. Fully stocked. The only request we would have is put in a regular size BBQ on the lanai and the Ocean Club needs umbrellas near the pool. Other than that, would definitely stay again.

had a great time celebrating my 66th, the on site bar/restaurant/pool/15D was great excellent location to King and Queen shops where other restaurant's and stores are located. office staff kanoi was great to work with and prompt to all questions

View from private lanai and master bedroom was exceptional! Appreciate that the kitchen was so well stocked with spices/condiments, paper goods, and cleaning supplies, as well as the variety of appliances, utensils, and kitchenware. The plentiful beach chairs, umbrella, ice chest and other amenities were an added benefit. Location of this unit would be difficult to duplicate. We plan to be back soon!

This condo is absolutely wonderful! Very spacious, and very comfortable. The view from the lanai and from the master bedroom is so beautiful! We spent a lot of time sitting on the lanai enjoying the view and the sound of the ocean. The Halii Kai complex is a hidden gem. The pool and the bar & restaurant are excellent for such a small property. And, the staff are so friendly; made us feel so welcome. And, many thanks to your property management team. The entire reservation, check-in and check-out processes went so smoothly. We hope to stay here again; maybe next spring. Thanks again!

Outstanding accommodations, in an ideal, 2nd floor end unit, with breathtaking views of Maui. The pool bar and grille was well staffed with friendly people, great service and food. This was our 3rd visit to Halii Kai, and we’re already planning our return to this unit. The pictures were completely accurate, everything was as described. The unit was spotless and stocked with the right amenities (beach supplies, towels, etc). Very quiet and peaceful setting, you will thoroughly enjoy your stay in 15D.

We loved our stay at 15D Halii Kai. We stayed 11 days and had a chance to explore the whole island. The sunsets are spectacular! The home was very clean and welcoming. We especially appreciate a rental home that might provide aluminum foil, coffee filters, salt and pepper and other condiments and such. So nice to not have to equip a kitchen from scratch. You can tell the owners use their place and are proud to share it with others.The only drawback, for us as a couple, was the busy pool filled with small kids. We rarely used the pool as it was difficult to get a chair. Also, there are no umbrellas and the only shade provided was from palm trees and in the eating area.This would not deter us from renting again. We explored the local beaches and enjoyed the beach chairs and beach umbrella provided in the condo. Also, the Waikoloa Beach Resort area is in a very sunny spot. The weather was consistently sunny for our whole stay.

The unit is the best for viewing the whales in winter. Great location with a nice pool and restaurant in the complex.

We have stayed at two other oceanfront units at this complex and yours met all of our expectations. It was nice to walk in and have bottled water, working beach equipment and plenty of household supplies.We will definitely be looking to book this unit again.

Great corner unit with outstanding and relaxing views. Love the lanai and dont change to a table out there. The couch is PERFECT!!! Communication excellent and checking in and out very easy. Awesome location to everything on the Big Island. Comfy beds and appreciated the ice chest and blue ice available along with beach towels. Really like that shoes are not allowed in home and enjoyed the beach club for eating dinner and watching sunset. The condo was perfect with bedrooms on oppisite sides and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again most definitely; thank you

Fantastic views of the water, well appointed, the condo has everything you need for a vacation stay including beach chairs and umbrellas. If you wanted to cook a meal this kitchen has high end appliances and all the kitchen tools you need. Just a short walk to the pool an restaurant area.

We absolutely loved this condo! We sat on the lanai every morning having coffee and had too many whale sightings to count. It was incredibly well stocked with everything you could need for the week. Very high end appliances and furniture. The entire place is very well decorated and gives you a very “Hawaiian” feel. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the condo on the Big Island. Jason Mills was very accommodating of our arrival and departure times. The condo itself is a little dated, but it more than served our purpose. We will definitely try and stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay in this very special home. The amenities were wonderful and they included many special touches, like sun tan lotion & beach chairs and day cooler. and nice big beach towels. There were many spices and condiments included that made provisioning so much easier. The kitchen was great and had everything a cook could want. We loved the 2 dishwashers! The Lanai overlooking the ocean was priceless. It is a vey well appointed condo and we hope to come back again soon!

We had a great time in 15D! The views from the lanai are even better than in the pictures; we started and ended every day here. The unit is clean, very spacious, and stocked with everything you need to cook and have a great time at the beach. The layout is great for 2 couples and has a full size washer / dryer and dedicated parking space; not something found with most rental condos.

We really loved the Pool and Restaurant area; also an amazing view, great place to cool down after a day in the sun and surf, and the food is really good. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The condo location is also central to shopping, beaches, and has plenty of walking paths - either along the sidewalks in the resort or the ‘beach trail’ through the lava flows.

We had such a great time that we’ve already rebooked for next year!

Halii Kai 15D exceeded our high standards for a vacation rental. It is by far our favorite place we have ever stayed on the Big Island! It’s the best unit in the complex, being oceanfront and on the end. Pictures don’t do the view justice. The grounds and pool are beautiful. Not only is the location perfect for any activity on the island but this unit is stocked with anything you might need. Including beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, spices, condiments, plastic wrap, tin foil, baggies, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and so much more. Makes packing much easier knowing you will have these items provided. The property manager Jason was great to work with. The unit was immaculate and organized. The two king size beds were very supportive and comfortable. Our favorite part of the day was having breakfast on the Lanai as watching dolphins swim by and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Would love to stay here again!

Beautiful location with great view of the Ocean

This unit is right on the ocean front. We were waking up to the sound of whales spouting. The unit is also on the second floor and is an end unit so it doesn’t get any better unless you are in a single family home. The unit is a “high end” condo and nicely equipped and furnished. The layout would be comfortable for two couples. The kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking and serving for 4-6 people.

The unit needs some cleaning and maintenance, Carpets and rugs need cleaning. The unit needs some basic maintenance; lubricate sliding doors, windows and screens, paint touch-up, etc. The kitchen could use some more towels, dish clothes and pans.

There is a “beach club” next door so while the unit is private, there is the usual resort noise associated with a pool, etc. The garage was not available for our stay which was a negative. There was an additional $20 per day fee for use of the beach club and parking(!?). This fee should have been included in the overall fees or made clear in the description. We had some issues with check-in and payment, but I think it was due to the change in property management companies.

Overall, we had a great stay in this property. We only wish we we had stayed longer because the location was so good. The property was a good value, even with all the fees.
